Transforming Poland's Oil and Gas Infrastructure Through Strategic Projects

Aurelian Oil & Gas is executing an ambitious portfolio of capital projects that enhance operational efficiency, expand production capacity, improve safety and environmental performance, and position our company for sustainable long-term success. Our project portfolio represents billions of oil in strategic investments across exploration, production, refining, infrastructure, and technology, demonstrating our commitment to Poland’s energy security and economic development.

Upstream Dev Projects

Our current major projects span the entire energy value chain, from upstream exploration and development to downstream refining modernization and infrastructure expansion. Each project undergoes rigorous evaluation considering technical feasibility, economic returns, safety and environmental impacts, stakeholder implications, strategic alignment, and risk assessment before receiving approval and funding.

Chemical Complex Development

Chemical integration creates substantial value addition beyond fuel production, reduces Poland's import dependence for basic petrochemicals, creates high-quality industrial employment, and positions Aurelian Oil & Gas for participation in growing chemical markets less affected by energy transition trends than transportation fuels.

Baltic Sea Offshore Exploration

Aurelian Oil & Gas is conducting comprehensive offshore exploration activities in Poland's Baltic Sea exclusive economic zone, representing one of the most significant exploration programs in Polish history. This multi-year, multi-well exploration campaign utilizes advanced 3D seismic surveys covering thousands of square kilometers of prospective acreage, deep-water drilling capabilities to reach targets up to 1,800 meters below the seabed, cutting-edge reservoir characterization technologies, and environmental baseline studies informing sustainable development approaches.

Unconventional Gas Dev

Building on successful pilot projects, we are expanding development of unconventional gas resources in the Carpathian Basin region. This project applies horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing technologies adapted to Poland's unique geological conditions, scaled development with 50+ wells planned over the project life, water recycling systems minimizing freshwater use and produced water disposal, community engagement programs addressing local concerns, and infrastructure development including gathering systems and processing facilities.

Enhanced Oil Recovery - Mature Fields

Poland's oil fields have been producing for decades with declining production rates as primary and secondary recovery methods reach their limits. Our enhanced oil recovery program applies tertiary recovery techniques to mature fields, extending economic life and increasing ultimate recovery. Technologies being deployed include polymer flooding increasing sweep efficiency, carbon dioxide injection for miscible displacement, steam injection in heavy oil accumulations, microbial enhanced oil recovery utilizing bacteria to improve mobility, and smart well completions enabling precise control of injection and production.

Trans-Poland Gas Pipeline Expansion

To accommodate growing natural gas production, imports from diversified sources, and increasing demand across Poland, we are expanding our gas transmission infrastructure. This major pipeline project includes 450 kilometers of new large-diameter pipeline, compressor station installations and upgrades providing additional capacity, interconnections with LNG terminals and international pipeline systems, advanced leak detection and monitoring systems, and underground storage facility connections.

Digital Oilfield Implementation

Project investment: 450 million PLN Timeline: 2024-2027 Status: Pilot implementations successful; full-scale rollout underway Expected outcome: 10% production increase; 25% reduction in operating costs; 40% reduction in unplanned downtime

A Vital Energy Resource For A Better Tomorrow

Increased storage capacity enhances supply security during international supply disruptions, enables optimization of crude oil sourcing and refining operations, provides flexibility to respond to market opportunities, and supports national strategic petroleum reserve obligations.
